Stone Goat Ranch
~A Working Family Ranch~
At Stone Goat Ranch, we carry on a traditional Southern Arizona ranch life. We raise range fed cattle and even have a few dairy goats, which means we work hard, play hard and eat well. Needless to say, this is not the kind of environment for people with over sensitive eating issues. In our meals, we use all the sugar, twice the gluten, real butter and the cuisine represents hearty, rib-stickin' omnivorous fare, however, we will accommodate a vegetarian diet if requested in advance. We serve juicy steaks, chicken, fish, seasonal vegetables, and salad. We make our own bread, use local market fresh fruits and vegetables, and even sprinkle in delicacies from the desert itself. So when you come, leave your diet behind for a few days of decadent indulgence.
A Day in the Life of a Cattle Rancher
Branding & Vaccinating the new arrivals and checking the fence lines and gates. As you can see from the photos, even the younguns get involved. We have an extended family that work the ranch, made up of two families and Cowboy Joe.
Driving the cattle to the South Rangeland
Best adventure my family ever had. The kids want to go back again next year. Very gracious hosts and our 1 week our trip felt way too short.

Even though it is a very rural setting we wanted for nothing. It was like living in the middle of the wild west desert. We will remember the petroglyph tour the rest of our lives.

Love the Food! Never had a better steak. At night we could not believe the stars. Hosts are great. We will be back.
